Budgeting and Financial Workshops for Welfare Reforms - this LEADER funded project has a financial literacy worker based in the community delivering a variety of budgeting and financial workshops and seminars to individuals and groups. Financial and Legal Inclusion for Seniors and Carers (FLISC) - working in partnership with the Senior Peoples Forum the FLISC project saw roadshows and advice delivered to the senior community and produced our Guide to Financial Choices handbook which is available in either hard copy or PDF format. 22,000 booklets have been delivered across West Lothian but if you wish one to be sent to you please use the enquiry form.
Free Law Clinic - WLFIN ran a pilot Law Clinic in partnership with Strathclyde University Law Clinic from June until September 2012. These weekly two hour sessions saw 26 members of the public accessing free legal advice and assistance with issues such as benefits appeals, Child Support Agency issues, employment issues and residency cases.
